BodyWorks Integrative Yoga and Stress Management opened its doors in February of 2003. It was inspired by the vision of Jean Grant-Sutton to provide a place that would give people of all shapes, sizes, colors and ages an opportunity to learn and practice the healing art of Yoga and other forms of movement that lead to wellness and give tools for managing the high levels of stress that we live with in our Western fast-paced lifestyle.
The atmosphere and environment was specially-designed to be calming and soothing.
We offer a variety of styles of Hatha Yoga. The emphasis by all teachers is for students to listen carefully to their body signals and to practice with focused mindfulness so that the wholeness of the eightfold path of Yoga is experienced.
Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Stress management, Beginners Yoga, Mixed level Yoga, Yoga for Chronic Pain, Yoga for Back Care, Yoga-pilates blend, Vinyasa flow Yoga, class series and various special workshops are all part of the class schedule during different times of the year.

We offer Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and freestyle dance for those people who prefer other types of movement practices.
BodyWorks also offers massage therapy as another means to managing stress. All practitioners are State Certified and are committed to their work as an important part of their clients health care maintenance.
